The game

Your bottle travels.

A slow game: your bottle really travels. Affinity decides who matches you; the sea decides when you meet.

  1. 01It sets sail from your city Every day it drifts 30–60 km on its own current: curves, loops and the odd whirlpool. No two routes alike.
  2. 02Give it a push Up to 5 pushes a day: tap the bottle and it moves a little faster.
  3. 03Clink! Sometimes the tide brings two matching bottles together. That bottle shows up first in your list.
  4. 04Another ocean Once a week, a plane can take it to another ocean at random. And the voyage starts again.
  5. 05Logbook Your bottle notes where it goes: coasts, countries and kilometres.

The small print

Launch. Wait. Come back.

  1. Launch your bottle A label, 50 questions about who you are and what you’re looking for, and a short message. About 12 minutes.
  2. Let it float We don’t notify you of anything. While you live your life, your bottle looks for someone who fits you.
  3. Come back with your key Sign in with your alias and password (or your recovery key) and see who clicks, who proposes cards and who writes to you.

No photos, no swiping, no notifications

  • Photos One label out of 100.
  • Swiping Sorted by %.
  • Notifications None. No email, no push.
  • Endless feed Read, decide, close.
  • Email We don’t even ask.
  • Google Your bottle doesn’t show up.

Difference is beautiful too

A lower % isn’t a no. Thinking differently about some things adds up: you show each other new worlds.

Order & rhythm One plans and the other improvises: together, neither rigid nor chaotic.

Bond One needs more space and the other more closeness: together you learn to love in your own way.

Adversity Each of you bounces back your own way: together you have more ways to keep going.

Fair questions.

faq.md
1

What is “This is my message”?

A way to meet people by affinity. No photos or swiping: you answer 50 questions, write a short message and pick your bottle’s label. We show you who you click with and why.

2

Is it free?

Yes. All of it: bottle, affinity, cards and messages.

3

How long does it take?

About 12 minutes: you pick your label, answer 50 quick questions (most take one tap) and write a short message.

4

How do I come back if there’s no email?

With your alias and password, or with your recovery key. When you send your bottle you can add the site to your home screen and put a reminder in your calendar to come back in a few days.

5

How is compatibility calculated?

We compare your answers topic by topic. Your dealbreakers weigh more: if someone is at the opposite pole, their % drops. Nobody sees your answers, only the result.

6

Are there really no photos?

Really. Everyone picks a label for their bottle. First you read each other through the cards and, if you both approve, the chat opens.

7

How is it different from other apps for meeting people?

No swiping, no endless feed, no notifications built to hook you. Nothing to download: open it in your browser whenever you like.

8

Who can use it?

Anyone aged 20 or over. You can filter by age, height and % affinity.

9

Is my data private?

Yes. Your answers are never shown, we don’t ask for email and your bottle doesn’t appear on Google.

10

What’s a bottle bump?

A little twist of fate at sea: sometimes two compatible bottles pass within 20 km of each other and bump (at most once a day). You’ll see it on your map, and that bottle will be highlighted in Affinity. It doesn’t change the %; it’s just a nudge to take a look.

Someone out there gave the same answers as you.

Now you just need to find each other. Send your bottle and let the sea do its thing.
